Meet Clare Liscott:
I am British, living in the UK.
I'm a woman in late middle-age, a graduate of Warwick University, UK.
I was treated for PTSD with OCD about four years ago.
Before that, the people I consulted didn't recognize my symptoms and ordinary counseling had a limited effect. I have had this condition since I was a preschool child.
I decided to write a novel called 'Sense, Sensibility and PTSD', which I'd describe as Updated Austen (Jane Austen) X The Silver Linings Playbook.
It focuses on a couple with long-term PTSD. The novel is not quite finished yet - I am editing it with help from a member of the Indie Book Club.
Her personal and professional experiences with both mental health and writing will level up your life in too many ways to count!
