A Mental Health Break
Learn to Take Small Steps Toward Certainty
"You've got to give yourself certainty by taking small steps." From struggling with social anxiety as a teenager, to moving across country and running a successful chain of gyms, Michael Budensiek is an inspiration on many levels! He says and lives by the thought that you live and learn.
In this episode, you will hear how Michael relieved his anxiety, tips he used to stay mentally healthy both during his move from Indiana to Florida and when he arrived, daily advice to improve your mental health, and much more.
WELCOME BACK to A Mental Health Break. This is the show where we normalize the conversation on mental health. After Host Vincent A. Lanci suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), and into recovery, he learned that he needed to prioritize my mental health. And his goal for this podcast is to help you do so, too!

Meet Budensiek: Many friends say he is the master of positivity and encouragement, which makes him a powerfully infectious person to be around.
Michael never officially graduated high school, instead opting to get his GED due to the fact that he got so far behind from working as a carpenter and spending his time at the gym working out in his teenage years.
After his 12 months of probationary fire fighting, he still had a lingering itch to get into the fitness industry, start a business, and help people change their lives. He found a trade school for Personal Training that had a 5-month course and took the leap, moving 1000 miles across the country to get it done.
In 2013, Michael opened his first Personal Training Studio and opened 5 locations in 5 years, which he says was a crazy ride that he would do over and over again.
