#238: 2 Years since Cancer Diagnosis with Legend Jim Madrid
Having the privilege of listening and learning from Jim Madrid is our gift to you.
On April 1, 2022, I was diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer, which I overcame, only for it to morph into non-small cell lung cancer, which I also defeated. Presently, I serve as a patient ambassador at City of Hope in Orange County, CA.
Despite these victories, I find it difficult to celebrate, knowing so many others are still fighting this dreadful disease. I make myself available to talk to not only cancer patients about having a positive mindset but also to others that may be facing a challenge.
My mindset when I was diagnosed, I could either take is as a death sentence or an OPPORTUNITY TO TRIUMPH. I took the latter.
