Meet our guest: A New Jersey native, Mary Lou Ortiz’s love of fashion began nearby in New York. The city, known as the world’s fashion capital, inspired Ms. Ortiz, from Fashion Week to simply strolling down 5th Avenue in Manhattan, the fashion world was ingrained early on. She began her career in retail fashion, which enabled her to support her young family while satisfying her need to be in the fashion industry.
She created a comfortable and private shopping experience for women in 2 appointment-only Salon Suite locations in the Bay area and personally shopped for over 2,000 clients that still follow her today in her new venture as GM for Heads and Tails in Tampa.
